   • Option 1: Two-year certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the relevant or similar trade
   • Option 2: One-year ITI certificate + one year of work experience in the relevant trade
2. Skilled Trades (Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce):
   • Proficiency in the respective trade
   • Must pass the trade test conducted by the BSF Recruitment Board
3. Hospitality Trades (Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter):
   • National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) Level-I certificate in food production/kitchen assistance from a recognized institution or NSDC

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet the BSF Physical Standards as specified in the official advertisement, which includes minimum height, chest (for males), and weight criteria. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will also be conducted during the recruitment process.
