Eligibility Criteria for DECT Assam Recruitment
- Citizenship: Indian citizens only, as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 40 years as of 1st January 2025 (Born between 31.12.1984 and 01.01.2007).
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Ex-servicemen: 2 years
- PWD: 10 years
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed HSLC or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
- 1 year Industrial or Teaching Experience (desirable).
- Employment Exchange Registration: Valid Employment Exchange registration card from Assam is mandatory.

Selection Process
Phase I – Written Test (MCQ)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marks: 100 (1 mark per question, no negative marking)
- Sections:
- Subject Knowledge – 60 marks
- General English – 10 marks
- General Knowledge – 15 marks
- Basic Digital Literacy – 15 marks
Phase II – Skill Test
- Ratio: 1:4 (category-wise)
- Marks: 50
- Conducted in Guwahati in the relevant trade.

Final Selection
