Salary Structure
- Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/-
- Grade Pay: ₹6,200/-

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Must be an Indian Citizen as per Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit (as on the last date of application):
- General: Up to 40 years
- OBC: Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): Relaxation of 5 years
- PwBD: Relaxation of 10 years
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university.
Computer Knowledge:
- Must possess a minimum 3-month certificate course in computer knowledge.
Language Proficiency:
- Should have knowledge of Assamese (the official language of Assam).
Employment Exchange:
- Must have a valid registration in Employment Exchange of Assam.

Selection Process
The selection will be carried out in three stages:
Stage I – Written Examination
- Type: OMR-based Objective Test
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 120
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
Syllabus:
- General English: 50 marks
- General Knowledge + Computer: 30 marks
- General Aptitude: 20 marks
- Assamese Language Test (qualifying): 20 marks
- Note: Minimum qualifying marks in Assamese is 8 out of 20.
Candidates scoring well in this stage will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio per district for the next stage.
Stage II – Computer Skill Test (35 Marks)
- Typing Test(20 Marks):
- Speed and accuracy will be evaluated using typing software.
- MS Word & Spreadsheet Proficiency (15 Marks)
Candidates shortlisted in 1:3 ratio will be called for the final stage.
Stage III – Viva Voce (15 Marks)
The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks from:
- Written Test: 100
- Computer Skill Test: 35
- Viva Voce: 15
- Grand Total: 150 marks
