Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following from a recognized university:
- Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geology, Forestry, or Environmental Science
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, or Civil Engineering
Physical Standards:
Candidates must meet the physical requirements (height & chest) as prescribed in the official notification.
2. Junior Engineer (JE)
- No. of Posts: 18
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 – 70,000 (PB-3) + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700
Category-wise Vacancies:
- UR: 8
- OBC/MOBC: 6
- SC: 2
- ST(P): 1
- Reserved for Tea Tribes & Adivasi: 1
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 01/01/2025
Educational Qualification:
- 3-year regular Diploma in Civil Engineering or Agriculture Engineering from a recognized institution
- Note: Distance learning diplomas will not be accepted.
Eligibility Criteria for Soil Conservation Recruitment
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) for educational purpose or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is mandatory.
