1. Contractual Engagement:
   All posts are on a contractual basis for 11 months, renewable depending on performance and funding availability.
2. Local Candidates Only:
   Many posts, especially at the district and Child Care Institution (CCI) levels, are non-transferable and require the candidate to be a resident of the concerned district.
3. Computer Proficiency Mandatory:
   For most posts like Data Analysts, Accountants, Social Workers, and Counselors, basic computer knowledge with a minimum 6-month to 1-year certificate is compulsory.
4. Reservation Policy:
   Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PwBD candidates will be applicable as per Government of Assam rules.
5. Female-Only Posts:
   Certain posts such as House Mother, Female Social Worker, Educator, Art & Craft Teacher, Yoga Trainer, and some CCI posts are reserved exclusively for female candidates.
6. Age Relaxation Benefits:
